Right of withdrawal
Because all Child Art Print products are custom made to your specifications and produced individually based on your uploaded drawings, the standard 14-day EU right of withdrawal does not apply in accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive regarding personalized goods.
This means orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has started, except in cases where the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Product expectations
All Child Art Print products are individually produced based on customer-provided artwork.
Please note:
- Order previews are digital mock-ups for illustration purposes only
- Final printed colors may vary slightly due to screen differences and print processes
- Our designers may refine layout and composition while preserving the original artwork
- Small variations are part of the custom production process
These variations do not constitute defects.
Damages, defects and incorrect orders
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your item is:
- damaged
- defective
- incorrectly produced
- different from your confirmed design
please contact us within 14 days of delivery at:
Include:
- order number
- description of issue
- photos of the product
We will evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, offer:
- replacement
- correction
- refund
- partial refund
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Returns for approved claims
If a return is approved, we will provide:
- return instructions
- return address
- return shipping guidance
Items sent without approval cannot be processed.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days after agreement on the refund.
Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.
Exchanges
Because products are custom made, exchanges are normally handled as replacements when production errors occur.
Sale items and gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Sale items remain covered by defect rights under applicable consumer law.
Your Artwork & Usage Rights
By placing an order you confirm you have the right to use the uploaded artwork and that it does not violate third-party rights.
